When is the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
The Art Fair takes place every May.

The 38th Broad Ripple Art Fair will be held on May 17 and 18, 2008. Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday 10 am – 5 pm.

What is the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
Established in 1971, the Broad Ripple Art Fair brings together more than 225 artists from the U.S. and Canada, booths from local cultural organizations, a children’s creative area, gourmet food courts, a beer and wine garden and live entertainment on four stages. The Art Fair takes place in ARTSPARK on the grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center, located at 67th Street and College Avenue in the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District.

More than 27,000 attended the 37th Broad Ripple Art Fair in 2007.

Does the Art Fair charge admission?
Yes, the Broad Ripple Art Fair does charge a minimal admission fee. The Art Fair is the Art Center’s largest annual fundraiser; the proceeds from admission, beverages and art activities benefit programming. The Art Center appreciates the continued support of dedicated patrons.

What does the Art Fair offer for entertainment, food and fun?
The Art Fair has four stages of live entertainment, beer and wine gardens and gourmet food courts. In addition, Kid’s World has several art activities for art-enthusiasts of all ages. Spin-a-pot is an Art Fair favorite; patrons can throw a clay pot on the wheel for a minimal cost.
