Indianapolis Art Center

Our team enjoyed our afternoon at the Indianapolis Art Center. We solicited each other’s input during the planning phase and then used our team’s individual strengths to create a fabulous piece of art that now hangs on a wall in our office. Indianapolis Art Center was flexible in creating an activity that fit well with our team’s needs.

The Indianapolis Art Center offers a unique and valuable opportunity to businesses, corporations and any organization where working as a team is important. Our full or half day team building activities put participants in touch with key elements of the creative process such as divergent thinking, creative problem solving, using imagination and invention, heightened communication, the ability to evaluate and revise and a wide range of skills that the U.S. Department of Labor targets as key qualities for today’s workplace.

Team building activities are designed to help groups develop effective communication and problem solving skills. An important part of team building exercises is participants’ reflection and discussion about the activity, how they approached the situation, and possible points of learning.

Bring your staff to the Indianapolis Art Center for a fun, unique and creative team building activity. Groups will work together to create a unique concept and work together to implement it.

Choose Mixed Media Collage Painting where you will create your own masterpiece based on a theme or your company’s mission statement. Paint and magazines will be used to create your idea on canvas to display in your office. Please call for different canvas sizes to fit your office space. Activity will last 2.5 hours.
*piece will need to be picked up next day due to drying time.

You may also choose Mixed Media Sculpture where your group will work together to create a sculpture made from found objects. Activity will last 2.5 hours.

Activity includes studio rental, professional artist to help the group come up with an idea for the project. This includes an initial meeting with the artist to discuss details (in person or over the phone). The artist will then help the group implement their ideas in the painting or sculpture. All materials are provided, rental space for lunch (1 hour) and rental space to discuss the finished project (1hour).
