GROUP TOURS, DEMONSTRATIONS & ART ACTIVITIES

Every year the Indianapolis Art Center connects the community with the artwork of local, regional and national artists, making it one of the most important hubs for contemporary art in the city. Our tours will give you an in-depth look at all that makes the Art Center so amazing!

The Marilyn K. Glick School of Art, a 40,000 square-foot facility designed by renowned architect Michael Graves, houses 11 state-of-the-art studios where you can enhance your experience by pairing your tour with a demonstration from one of our professional teaching artists or a hands-on art activity.

The building also houses a 224-seat auditorium, gallery shop, a library and six public art galleries showing the work of diverse artists, exploring original perspectives and making each tour a unique experience for people of all ages.

Outside our building, ArtsPArk offers nine-acres of outdoor creativity, sculptures and public art made by students and famous artists, right by one of the city’s most utilized greenway trail systems in one of Indianapolis’ most popular and diverse neighborhoods.

We welcome youth and adults of all ages, and can tailor our tour style to fit your group. Please schedule your tour a minimum of four weeks in advance of your desired date. Please read through our tour policies, and use the form below to submit your request. We look forward to seeing you
