OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair

It takes more than 600 volunteers for the OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair to be successful. Benefits of volunteering include free admission to the Art Fair, a free t–shirt and several hours of fun and entertainment.

Grounds Volunteer

Thank you for considering a volunteer position at the Indianapolis Art Center! The Indianapolis Art Center is a non-profit organization that loves our community and has a mission to bring art to ALL.

About volunteering in our ArtsPark: This is an outside position working in whatever climate mother nature sees fit.


  • Saturdays 9 am to 11 am
  • Saturdays 11 am to 1 pm
  • You are welcome to volunteer for both shifts!


  • 820 E 67th St, Indianapolis, IN 46220 – A unique space within the city with direct access to the Monon Trail and alongside the White River.
  • ArtsPark grounds – A 9.5 acre public garden open to our community featuring a diverse plant life, unique art sculptures and art installations.

What you will be doing:

  • Weeding
  • Planting
  • Learning
  • Collaborating
  • Cleaning up to showcase nature and art
  • Stooping, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Working with plant life to artistically complement the unique art sculptures and installations in the garden
