Freeing Your Creative Spirit
Join teaching artists Jen Broemel (textile) and Peggy Breidenbach (ceramic) as they pull assignments from Corita Kent’s seminal book, Learning By Heart, to help kick-start your own creativity and encourage you to look at the world in new ways. The class will use simple tools (paper, magazines, paint, thread, clay) to create both individual and group projects. Also incorporated will be improvisational techniques used by these artists in their own work as well as other approaches from invited guest artists.

While there may not be any bubbly beverages in this class, you’ll be able to experience the ceramic finishing process in a brand new way.
