Your connection with the Art Center makes us a stronger organization better equipped to serve our students, faculty, visitors and friends. Please consider a tax-deductible gift in any amount and help the Indianapolis Art Center continue to create art experiences in the classroom and in the community.
"When I think about, ‘Why Invest in the Art Center,’ it’s investing in young people like Makai," says Kaus, a mentor in Supportive Mentoring through Art (SMART). "I think one of our goals here in Indianapolis ... is to continue to grow and enhance the community so people like him stay here." Makai and Kaus speak about their SMART experience in the video below.
Your gift to the Indianapolis Art Center ensures that the Art Center can continue to provide art education, outreach and exhibitions to the community.
Your gift makes a creative impact by enabling us to:
- Offer 750 studio art classes, serving 4,500 students of all ages and abilities.
- Present 40 contemporary art exhibitions annually.
- Provide four award-winning outreach programs bringing art to youth in our city.
- Ensure that our studios are well-equipped, safe and inspiring creative spaces.
- Create more opportunities for our 300,000 annual visitors to engage in art.
There are several ways to make a planned gift and have a lasting impact on the Indianapolis Art Center. Each planned giving option has distinct tax advantages. The Art Center development staff welcomes the opportunity to prepare a proposal and discuss the benefits of various gift plans in greater detail.
Donors who make a planned gift in any amount with the Art Center are recognized through membership in the Renaissance Society. In addition to supporting the Art Center and its mission, donors can receive tax savings in the form of reduced capital gains, federal income and/or federal estate tax.
Planned gifts of $25,000 or more will be designated in the Renaissance Society as part of the Frank Springer Circle, which celebrates the legacy of the Art Center’s long-time board member and patron. During his life, Mr. Springer’s leadership was instrumental in the success of the Art Center, and his support continues today thanks to a generous gift from his estate.
