Shape wood into one-of-a-kind spoons and spatulas right from your home! Material kits will be available to purchase from the instructor. You will receive an email one week prior to the start of your class with Zoom details and a guide to support your virtual learning experience.

Design + Build Simple Furniture


Find inspiration in the clean simplicity of Shaker and Arts & Craft designs as you expand your wood skills. Create a bookcase, trestle table, standing cabinet, or other project fine-tuned to your needs. Learn machine and hand-skill techniques to produce sturdy mortise, tenon, and other joinery. Requires beginning class or prior experience.

Wood Turning


Take your creativity out for a spin, and learn how to turn wood on the lathe! With a focus on tool and wood selection, chucking options, as well as sanding and finishing, students will be able to make spindles for handles, furniture legs, or even simple bowls.

Learn how to use and maintain essential tools any Beginning woodworker should have! As an introductory class on hand tools, we will cover a broad range of topics including marking, sharpening, saws, chisels, and hand planes as well what tools should you acquire and how to buy them.

Western Hand Planes


Exploring different types of planes, how to sharpen plane blades, as well as basic leveling and joinery techniques - this class is anything but plain!
